Cathrin Hirsch appointed new CFO of RSBG SE

The RAG Foundation has appointed Cathrin Hirsch as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RSBG SE with effect from 1 January 2025. With more than 20 years of experience in financial management & controlling, business development, restructuring and risk management, she is bringing highly valuable expertise to her new role.

Cathrin Hirsch studied economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the Université de Rennes and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Augsburg. She started her career in 2003 at Thyssenkrupp, where she held various management positions, including in Controlling, Investor Relations and as Managing Director Finance. In 2018, she moved to the automotive industry and took on CFO positions at Röchling Automotive Europe and Carcoustics International.
